Hey, I'm Emre. I build platform, identity, and AI systems that have to survive real production pressure. The writing here is me taking notes on what that takes.

I'm a Principal Engineer at Sky, setting technical direction across platform engineering and AI: a multi-tenant Kubernetes platform for AdTech, agentic AI workflows, and the integration patterns that keep both safe. Three years in — senior engineer, then platform lead, now Principal — and the problems keep getting more interesting.

Before Sky I co-founded Syntonym and built the engineering organisation from scratch: hyper-realistic face anonymisation, shipped across edge and cloud GPUs. That chapter changed what "production-ready" means to me, because for the first time customers were on the other end of it. These days I'm also building Asklepion Health, applied AI for healthcare, where the audit trail matters more than the answer.

I write for senior engineers working through the same trade-offs: multi-tenant Kubernetes, Zero Trust, observability, and AI agents that need boundaries before they touch production.
