Hey, I’m Emre (/ˈɛm.reɪ/). I build platform, identity, and AI systems that have to survive real production pressure.

I’m a Principal Engineer at Sky, shaping technical direction across platform engineering and AI systems. That means multi-tenant Kubernetes platforms, agentic AI workflows, secure integration patterns, and the engineering standards teams build on top of. I’ve been at Sky for three years, working across cloud-native platforms, developer experience, observability, and AI adoption. It has been a proper growth chapter: moving from senior engineering into platform leadership, then into a Principal role focused on wider technical direction. Three years in and the problems keep getting more interesting.

Before that, I co-founded Syntonym, where I built the engineering organisation from scratch and shipped generative AI across edge and cloud GPU infrastructure. That chapter changed how I think about identity, security, reliability, and what “production-ready” really means once customers are involved.
